Last week various Chinese mobile certification sites revealed a new phone named ZTE Axon 20 5G with model number ZTE A2121 which means Chinese manufacturer is launching a successor to the ZTE AXON 10 Pro 5G, with model number A2020. The company CEO claimed it is going to be the first phone with under-display camera. The Chinese social media platform Weibo revealed that it will be called ZTE Axon 20 5G. The phone will be launched on 1st of September of this year.

ZTE Axon 20 5G is not going to be the first phone with under-display camera since Oppo already tested a demo unit with under-display camera, but it will be the first that will be commercially available. What we expect to see that how ZTE managed to solve the problem of poor light transmission through the display screen of the phone, since it is one of the major problem the mobile industry is facing when it comes to under-display cameras.
