Huawei sold its sub-brand Honor to a group of 30 agents and dealers in November. According to the reports on Weibo, Honor cooperated with Qualcomm for using its chipsets for upcoming smartphones.

V40 series was expected to bring into the market in December, but now Brand decided to launch the V40 lineup a month later in January 2021, with an addition in the V lineups Honor V40, V40 Pro, and V40 Pro+. Now there will be the third smartphone (V40 Pro+) in this series with a periscope lens.

Honor is doing research for introducing Qualcomm 5G chipsets in its latest smartphones.

According to the reports, the company is working on any of the 5G enabled chipsets of Qualcomm including Snapdragon 480, Snapdragon 690, Snapdragon 750G, Snapdragon 765G, and Snapdragon 888 but it is not confirmed yet.

The V40 lineup will come up with the Dimensity 1000+ SoC rather than Kirin 9000. It is expected that the touch sampling rate of the V40 lineup will be higher than 270 Hz with a new transflective layer on its LCD display its sunlight legibility has been improved.

V40 series will guarantee 66W fastest charging and quad-camera set-up at the rear with 50 MP RYYB sensor.

Now Honor is propelling to become the most prominent brand in China with the release of other products in addition to the smartphones.
