Xiaomi Mi 5 band will have a 1.2 inch AMOLED rectangular display with a large screen and there is no sign of punch-hole cut-out as we can see in the leaked pictures of the device. According to leaks, this will be the first-ever band of Xiaomi with an NFC chip globally. So it is also expected that its pricing may increase higher. It also features SpO2 for blood oxygen monitoring and GPS along with a remote camera controller.
For the first time, Xiaomi band will come with a smart voice tracker along with expected ECG support. So this band is far better than Mi 4 band so it may be a little bit expensive than Mi band 4.  

Launch and sale date

As the rumors come that it may launch on June 11 by a recent post by Chinese OEM on Weibo and Xiaomi Mi 5 band will go on sale in the domestic market on June 18.


Pricing

A tipster on Weibo states that the price of the Xiaomi Mi 5 band will be Yuan 200 (US$28). But before its final release, the company still has a lot to reveal and launch the device.

NFC support outside China

A new feature of this band is the NFC chip that is used for contactless payments. Xiaomi Mi 5 band could be the first fitness tracker with NFC support to be offered outside China.
