In the past week, we have seen an XDA report, which unleashed three new Xiaomi device codenamed “Pyxis”, “bamboo_sprout”, and “cosmos_sprout”. All of these three devices are equipped with in-display fingerprint sensors, though the previous two ran on Android One. This news made us think that the Mi A3 and Mi A3 lite is going to get official soon. It is expected that the “Pyxis” is going to be the next Xioami X Phone – this toned down version of the flagship follows the Mi 6X. Today, Mi 9X specs are unveiled.

The leaks have stated that the Mi 9X will have a waterdrop notch 6.4″ FHD AMOLED display with a 32MP selfie camera and in-display fingerprint sensor. The Mi 9X is going to be powered by a Snapdragon 675 just like the Redmi Note 7 Pro. In this scenario, it gets paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.

The Mi (X will have triple camera setup at its back along with the 48MP main camera, 13MP wide and also 8MP (like telephoto) sensors. The software will be MIUI 10 on top of Android 9 Pie. The battery is 3,300 mAh capacity and support is 18W fast charging.

It is expected that the specs of Mi A3 will be same as of the Mi 9X, though the Mi A3 lite will have lower the screen resolution and go for a lesser chipset. The pricing of Mi 9X will start at 1699 yuan i.e. $250/€220 and it is expected to launch in April.
